Job summary

Ipsen, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service customers in Central IN, Central OH, and Western MI. This remote role requires extensive travel, with training periods lasting up to 6–12 months and a home base near Fort Wayne, IN.

Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, calibration, and on-site technical support to ensure top-tier service performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of related industrial equipment operation and/or maintenance experience, or 4+ years of related experience.
• Experience in calibration, pyrometry, vacuum, thermal and TUS preferred.
• Must have a current, valid driver’s license and service automobile insurance.
• Ability to travel up to 90% of the time, mostly domestic with occasional international.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates assignments as directed by the HUB Lead or Regional Service Manager.
• Installs and starts up equipment and performs maintenance and calibration per work scope.
• Troubleshoots and repairs heat treatment equipment on-site at customer locations.
• Reviews equipment reports and documents issues to aid in troubleshooting.
• Coordinates problem solving through central support structures to expedite repairs.
• Develops and conducts customer training on equipment and related components.
