Ipsen USA is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support the Seattle/Tacoma area. This remote role involves up to 90% travel, with extended training periods and potential two-week assignments, and requires home base in the Northwest region.

The engineer will plan and perform installation, upgrades and calibration of heat treatment equipment, ensuring quality, speed and customer satisfaction while adhering to Ipsen safety policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the heat treatment industry.
• Ability to maintain heat treatment equipment.
• Very good verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of customer orientation and service mentality.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Knowledge of basic computer operations (MS Office, ERP, CRM).
• Ability to present a professional Ipsen image and promote cross-selling.

Responsabilités

• Identify technical issues of heat treatment equipment at the customer site.
• Execute service jobs including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repairs, calibrations.
• Document performed service jobs and record warranty claims.
• Identify and promote up-/cross-selling for services at the customer site.
• Identify required materials (tools, consumables, spare parts) for service execution.
• Act as first point of contact for customers with existing service contracts.
• Plan and schedule service jobs in coordination with the HUB Lead.
• Accurately record hours worked and job assignments; submit expense reports on time.
