Job summary

Ipsen International Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service the Seattle/Tacoma area. This remote role requires up to 90% travel with a home base in the Northwest region and extended training up to 1 year.

Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and warranty documentation for heat treatment equipment. The role demands strong communication, customer service, and hands-on mechanical/electrical skills, plus the ability to travel by car or air as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years in related industrial equipment operation/maintenance.
• Experience with heat treatment equipment and calibration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify technical issues at customer sites for heat treatment equipment.
• Perform service jobs including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repairs and calibrations.
• Document service work and record warranty claims.
• Identify materials and prepare tools for service execution.
• Coordinate service scheduling with HUB Lead and maintain accurate time records.
