Job summary

Ipsen International Inc is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service the Seattle/Tacoma area. This remote position requires extensive travel up to 90% and may involve long training periods, including being away up to two weeks at a time. A home base in the Northwest region is preferred.

Responsibilities include installing, upgrading, troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining heat treatment equipment. Strong communication and customer-service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of related industrial equipment operation/maintenance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Identify technical issues on heat treatment equipment at customer site.
• Perform service jobs including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibrations.
• Document service work and warranty considerations.
• Identify and promote up-/cross-selling opportunities for service work.
