Siemens Healthineers AG is seeking a Field Service Engineer (FSE) to service Varian Medical Systems (VMS) equipment across customer sites. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, installing, upgrading, and performing preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently.

You will manage time, coordinate with customers and internal teams, and escalate issues when needed. A valid driver's license and willingness to relocate to Phoenix, AZ, are required.

Qualifications

• Requires HS degree or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Experience with electronic and electro-mechanical systems and measurement equipment.
• Proficient with imaging systems and basic software diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all designated VMS equipment within an assigned service territory, including preventative maintenance, installations, and upgrades per VMS guidelines.
• Manage time and maintain a schedule to include preventative maintenance, installations, and upgrades as well as incoming customer calls.
• Elevate incidents when necessary and/or request assistance from senior staff.
• Examine difficult customer issues, diagnose, and resolve, meeting FSR levels.
• Submit field service and expense reports and manage documentation per procedures.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication.
