Job summary

Siemens Healthineers AG is seeking a Field Service Engineer to troubleshoot, repair, install, and upgrade Varian Medical Systems equipment at customer sites across a designated territory. You will perform preventative maintenance, manage schedules, and escalate complex issues as needed.

The role emphasizes strong communication with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams, with a requirement to meet credentialing and on-site access standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient with electronic and electro-mechanical engineering and calibration equipment.
• Able to diagnose imaging system defects and troubleshoot routine issues.
• Experience with PC-based systems and software debugging.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair VMS equipment within a service territory.
• Maintain schedule for preventive maintenance, installations, and upgrades.
• Escalate issues to Sr FSR or management when needed.
• Maintain field service reports and documentation per VMS procedures.
• Develop strong customer relationships through clear communication.
