Job summary
Avante Health Solutions seeks a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site and remote support for diagnostic imaging equipment in the Minneapolis/St. Cloud, MN area.
You will diagnose, repair, calibrate, and verify performance, traveling 50-75% to customer sites and coordinating with the service team to resolve issues quickly. Requirements include an associate degree in biomedical/electrical or related tech, 2–4 years of medical imaging repair experience, strong troubleshooting, and proficiency
Qualifications
- Associate degree in biomedical, electrical/electronics, or computer engineering technology required.
- 2–4 years of medical linear accelerator and/or medical diagnostic imaging troubleshooting and repair experience preferred.
- Above average troubleshooting knowledge across multiple OEMs and modalities is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Serves as primary onsite support engineer for all customers within assigned territory for contract, warranty, and billable service calls.
- Communicates with Service Support to provide detailed follow-up information and bring issues to closure.
- Travels to customer sites to diagnose and repair system failures and perform preventive maintenance.
