Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking a Field Service Engineer for field remote work across OH, KY, MI, PA, and IN. The role involves servicing, repairing and installing equipment at client sites with travel up to 80% and a company vehicle provided. Location focus includes Columbus, OH area.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, installations, minor repairs, and coordinating with specialists for network integration. Requires technical degree or equivalent experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent work history.
• Willing to travel ~80% including overnights.
• Knowledge of GMP and Plant Safety Protocols.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer-focus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a PC for data entry and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform client-site servicing, repair and installation of company products.
• Provide technical support on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software and system failures and determine cost-effective repairs.
• Coordinate with Service Coordinator for scheduling and prerequisites.
