Job summary

EFI is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team in the United States. These are remote roles requiring regular travel nationwide and abroad to support our Nozomi inkjet product line.

You will install, configure, and maintain printers, train operators, and diagnose complex electrical and mechanical issues, often at client sites or exhibitions. The ideal candidate has at least two years of mechanical/electrical engineering qualification, strong Windows knowledge, and excellent

Qualifications

• Minimum two-year mechanical or electrical engineering qualification.
• Experience with mechanical, digital, and electronic technology preferred.
• Strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Fluent English and ability to travel.
• Knowledge of large format printers and printing applications is desirable.
• Proven ability to provide training.

Responsibilities

• Install and set up printers at customer sites.
• Provide operator and printer maintenance training.
• Troubleshoot and repair printers with electrical/mechanical issues.
• Provide detailed technical feedback to the call center.
• Support exhibitions and travel as needed.
• Work remotely with customers to identify issues and provide solutions.
• Participate in after-hours support on a rotating basis.
