Abbott is seeking a Field Service Engineer II to support customers in the Providence, Rhode Island area. This remote, field-based role installs, maintains, and troubleshoots diagnostic instruments, ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction.

You will manage your territory and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver reliable diagnostics for patient care. The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 2–5 years in engineering or lab tech, and travel up to 25%.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in Engineering or Laboratory Technology.
• Ability to travel 25% within the assigned territory.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with laboratory instrumentation.

Responsabilidades

• Install and maintain diagnostic systems across instruments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and document resolutions.
• Own customer satisfaction; manage issues from start to resolution.
• Plan and prioritize service visits; manage inventory.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor others.
• Meet service sales, cost of service, and KPI targets.
• Use remote tools to maximize instrument uptime and stay certified.
