Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Field Service Engineer to maintain, install, and repair mass spectrometers and related equipment at client sites across Ohio and surrounding regions. You will work independently, mentor others, and travel up to 50% as required.

The role supports qualification services, customer training, and administrative duties, with a remote-work option for eligible assignments. A relevant degree is required, and vendor credentials must be met.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or related field.
• Experience with LCMS and/or capillary electrophoresis is required; familiarity with mass spectrometry instrumentation is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and meet vendor credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, and repair instrumentation at internal and external customer sites.
• Provide qualifications services and customer training; ensure customer satisfaction at strategic accounts.
• Complete administration duties and service activity logs.
