Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a part of Danaher, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support diagnostics equipment in the Houston region and remote southeast Texas. You will troubleshoot, install, validate, and perform preventative maintenance and service on Beckman Coulter systems.

Requirements include an associate degree (technical) or equivalent, 1 year of repair experience, and a valid driver’s license. Travel up to 20% overnight; remote work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering) or equivalent military experience.
• 1 year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to travel up to 20% overnight within territory.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lb (tools, replacement parts, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, validate, preventive maintenance, modifications, and service repair on Beckman Coulter equipment.
• Maintain accurate customer service logs and internal service records; order parts; use OBI, Salesforce and SharePoint for planning.
• Communicate with internal and external customers and assist in training newer Field Service Engineers.
