Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers across the Chesapeake Service District. You will perform troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventive maintenance, and service repairs on Beckman Coulter equipment, while serving as a customer advocate and helping train peers.

This role is fully remote within the Washington DC, Baltimore, MD, Hagerstown MD, and Virginia Beach territory; relocation to Richmond, VA or

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical, biomedical, engineering or related field; or equivalent military experience.
• 1+ year of experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventive maintenance, modifications, and service repairs on Beckman Coulter equipment.
• Maintain accurate customer service logs and internal service records, order repair parts, and use systems like OBI, SalesForce, and SharePoint for planning.
• Communicate with internal and external customers and assist with training of newer Field Service Engineers.
