Abbott is seeking a Field Service Engineer focused on Diagnostics and Lab Automation in Morgantown, WV. You will be the primary automation account contact, delivering technical support and customer experience to ensure loyalty and revenue growth.

The role requires a lab environment background, customer interaction experience, and the ability to train customers on analyzers and replacement components. Relocation is not authorized.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of relevant experience with instrumentation utilized in a laboratory environment.
• 2 years of experience interfacing with customers.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system.
• Provide Level I and II phone and on-site support for hardware, software, and reagents.
• Troubleshoot issues and determine root cause using standard tools.
• Plan and prioritize customer visits and activities in each account.
• Prepare, schedule, and execute training to improve customer self-sufficiency.
• Coordinate order delivery, billing, inventory, and replenishment.
• Develop lab strategy with account management and drive value expansion.
• Maintain accurate documentation of customer complaints and actions.
