Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Diagnostics / Lab Automation) to support customers in the Morgantown, WV area. You will implement quality systems, provide Level I/II support for hardware, software, and reagents, and train customers to troubleshoot analyzers.

Travel up to 25% is expected, with remote opportunities and a focus on customer satisfaction. Requires an associates degree and 2 years in lab instrumentation or customer-facing roles.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of relevant experience with instrumentation in a laboratory environment.
• 2 years of experience interfacing with customers.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the quality system.
• Provide Level I and II phone and on-site support for hardware, software, and reagents.
• Plan and prioritize customer visits and training to improve self-sufficiency.
• Coordinate order delivery, billing, and inventory management in assigned accounts.
• Develop relationships to identify value expansion opportunities and meet revenue goals.
