Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, part of Danaher, seeks a Field Service Engineer to service Beckman Coulter equipment across assigned geographies. You will troubleshoot, install, perform preventive maintenance, and repair devices at customer sites, while training customers and updating service logs.

Requires an Associate’s degree, 1 year of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and ability to travel; remote/hybrid eligibility is offered with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required (military experience considered).
• 1 year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, or instrumentation.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; willingness to travel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks; bend and reach as needed.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills.
• Comfort with using service management systems and documenting service events.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, perform preventive maintenance, and service Beckman Coulter equipment.
• Provide excellent service to customers and offer technical training on products.
• Maintain accurate logs, order replacement parts, and adhere to cycle times.
• Use OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for planning and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and mentor junior field engineers.
