Job summary

Omada Search is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on our biotechnical equipment. Expect 50–75% travel monthly, with remote, home-based work across the Western United States, including nights and weekends as needed.

Ideal candidates bring five+ years of low-voltage troubleshooting, LN2 handling, and the ability to read P&IDs and electrical schematics. Strong customer relations and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years in hospital/clinic vendor role preferred.
• Experience with LN2 highly preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and calibration instrument skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using test instruments.
• Measure and adjust instrumentation with calibration equipment.
• Install, modify, and repair equipment from our client and third parties.
• Manage an assigned customer base and balance maintenance workloads with repairs.
• Demonstrate proper use of equipment to customers and provide training as needed.
• Complete service reports, timesheets, and parts lists accurately and on time.
• Maintain strong customer relationships with professionalism and good judgment.
