Job summary

Agilent Technologies in the United States seeks a Field Service Engineer to repair, install, upgrade and maintain tissue diagnostic IVD devices, ensuring optimal instrument performance. You will respond to customer needs, schedule visits, document time and expenses in SAP, and collaborate with Product Specialists and OEM vendors.

Travel will be 90-100%, with 4-5 days per week in the field and overnight stays 2-3 nights.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in biomedical/IVD field.
• Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and travel 90-100%.
• Experience with IT concepts and networking.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs with repair, installation, upgrade and preventive maintenance on tissue diagnostic IVD devices.
• Schedule service visits and maintain timely communication with customers.
• Document time and expenses in SAP and other systems.
• Provide feedback to Product Specialists and OEM vendors regarding performance issues.
