Job summary

Bio-Rad Laboratories seeks a Field Service Engineer in the Minneapolis area to perform repairs, upgrades and preventive maintenance on clinical diagnostic instruments at customer sites, primarily hospitals and laboratories. You will travel up to 5 days per week within your region to support field operations.

In this highly autonomous role you will build strong customer relationships, document service activity, and ensure instrument performance while complying with FDA/GMP requirements.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of transferable field service experience servicing electro-mechanical/electronic/optical/robotics equipment.
• Ability to read and follow medium to highly complex work instructions.
• Strong customer relation and communication skills, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, upgrades and preventive maintenance on Bio-Rad instruments at customer sites.
• Travel up to 5 days a week within the assigned territory to support hospitals and laboratories.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and adhere to regulatory requirements.
