Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics in the El Paso, TX area is seeking a Field Service Engineer to maintain and repair hematology, urinalysis, immunoassay, and automation systems. You will play a key role in ensuring diagnostics equipment operates reliably to support patient health and hospital workflows.

You will troubleshoot, install, and perform preventive maintenance in a fast-paced setting, travel as needed, and train newer engineers while collaborating with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation.
• Hold a current valid driver’s license and good driving record; travel as needed.
• Ability to lift, lower and carry up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Experience in advanced troubleshooting and service on lab instruments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, perform preventive maintenance and service repair on Beckman Coulter equipment, while delivering excellent customer service.
• Maintain accurate service logs and use OBI, Salesforce and SharePoint for planning and reporting.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders and assist in training newer Field Service Engineers.
