Job summary

Eaton’s Critical Power Solutions (CPS) Division is seeking a Lead Field Service Electronics Technician in the Albany, NY area. The position is remote from a home office with daily travel to customer sites and occasional overnight stays; a company vehicle is provided.

You will deliver on-site support, emergency repairs, start-up services, and preventative maintenance to ensure peak performance and reliability for mission-critical facilities.

Qualifications

• Two years of power systems, battery technologies and/or electronics experience.
• Must have a valid unrestricted State Driver's license.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot.
• Willingness to travel daily to customer sites and back, with occasional long trips.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support and emergency repairs.
• Perform start-up services and preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with customers to ensure uptime and performance.
• Participate in safety training and ongoing compliance programs.
