Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a 100% remote Dispatcher to support a growing field service operation. You will coordinate service technicians, manage schedules, and communicate with customers to ensure timely service from a fully remote location near Chicago, IL.

The role offers a 10-12 month contract with potential for permanent hire, supervised training, and exposure to Salesforce and field operations technology. Strong organization and customer communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous dispatching, scheduling, or service coordination experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience managing schedules and high-volume workloads.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming work orders through Salesforce.
• Assign service calls to the appropriate field technicians.
• Manage technician schedules, routes, and service appointments.
• Schedule upcoming work across multiple service territories.
• Monitor high-volume work order activity and adjust schedules as priorities change.
• Communicate delays, schedule changes, and appointment updates to customers.
• Handle escalated service requests and customer concerns.
• Communicate regularly with technicians, account managers, sales, and customer service teams.
• Manage frequent phone and email communication throughout the day.
