Job summary

Monil seeks a field sales professional to grow our livestock fencing technology across Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Oklahoma, and Nebraska. You will meet producers on ranches, conduct on-farm demos, and guide them through the buying process.

This role blends field work with phone and desk time, including travel up to several days a week and participating in industry events. You will collaborate with a small US team to move opportunities forward.

Qualifications

• Experience in agriculture, ideally cattle, grazing, or livestock production.
• Comfortable walking onto a ranch and having practical conversations with producers.
• Enjoys field work and time around livestock operations, plus phone/desk follow-up to move deals forward.
• Hands-on sales experience or education related to sales, agriculture, or agribusiness.
• Organized, proactive, and takes ownership of solving problems.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a growing company.
• Able to explain technical solutions in practical, straightforward terms.
• Excited to join early and help build something new.
• Open to strong candidates from various ag backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Meet directly with cattle producers and ranchers across Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Oklahoma, and Nebraska.
• Conduct on-farm demonstrations and guide producers through the buying process.
• Prospect new opportunities and close sales through phone outreach, follow-up conversations, and inbound interest.
• Support producer meetings, demo days, and industry trade shows.
• Work closely with the Farmer Success Manager to ensure customers get started successfully.
• Share feedback from the field to help improve product fit, messaging, and the overall customer experience.
• Continuously improve how we sell, using field feedback to refine the sales process.
