Job summary

WEX Inc. is seeking a Field Sales Representative to cover Chevron & Texaco in California and Texas. The role involves hunting and closing new business within a dynamic, B2B environment, with heavy emphasis on discovery, presentation, and pipeline management.

The candidate must reside in CA or TX, be comfortable with travel, and drive territory growth through strategic prospecting and relationship-building. Base pay ranges are disclosed; commissions and bonuses are possible.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of outside sales experience with proven client acquisition.
• End-to-end sales cycle management from prospecting to closure.
• Strong discovery, presentation, and product knowledge.
• Ability to travel within state-based territory.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed monthly sales KPIs for net cards, gallons, and revenue.
• Develop a strategic territory expansion plan with the sales manager.
• Self-generate leads and maintain a robust pipeline.
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and CRM.
