Job summary

Western Union is seeking a performance-driven Sales Representative to drive new business in California by signing and activating high-potential retail stores and managing end-to-end sales processes. The role requires frequent travel (4–5 days/week) across the territory and a strong focus on Money Transfer offerings.

The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of sales experience, be bilingual in English and Spanish, hold a valid driver's license, and be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably in money transfer or payments.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred; English fluency required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle; regular local travel.
• Authorized to work in the United States full-time; no visa sponsorship.
• Residency in California or willingness to relocate to California within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Discover, sign, and activate high revenue retail stores across the assigned California territory.
• In-person visits 4–5 days per week within the territory.
• Manage end-to-end sales process: lead generation, qualifying opportunities, selling value, signing contracts, training, merchandising, and supporting accounts in ramp-up.
• Ensure smooth transition of agents to the Account Development Sales Team.
• Build pipeline of agent locations and analyze territory for high-potential opportunities.
• Assist new accounts with onboarding, training, and installation of hardware/software.
• Sell Western Union portfolio with focus on Money Transfer; secure structured deals and competitive wins.
• Proactively prospect, develop, and close new customer opportunities to grow revenue and share.
• Travel within defined territory; reside within the largest market.
