Cengage Group is seeking a Field Sales Consultant for Minnesota (Remote) to drive digital and print product solutions and meet sales goals.

You will develop strategic territory plans, build new business, forecast activity using sales tools, and participate in conferences and events.

The role requires strong communication, industry knowledge, and the ability to lift materials as needed; remote work within Minnesota is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; teaching and education sales exp preferred.
• Proven sales growth and goal achievement.
• Excellent verbal, written and electronic communication.
• Ability to build and execute complex sales solutions.
• Territory management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Office; ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Engage in sales call activities to prospective customers to explore and present product solutions for our digital and print products.
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
• Create and implement strategic territory and business plans.
• Drive new business to foster growth within the territory.
• Provide accurate forecast and sales activity reporting using company sales tools and historical data.
• Participate in network building opportunities within territory, including conferences, group presentations, and industry functions.
• Other duties as needed.
