Builders Mutual is seeking a Risk Management Regional Manager to lead a designated field team and drive risk-management services across the North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Florida footprint. The role combines hands-on field work with strategic oversight, directing staff performance and ongoing training to improve loss results.

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication across levels.
• Experience leading client-facing professionals.
• Solid understanding of underwriting, claims, and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coach Risk Management Consultants in a multi-state region.
• Deliver value-added risk management services to policyholders and agents.
• Analyze loss trends and class code profitability and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and marketing to enhance risk results.
• Lead field operations, training, and continuing education for the team.
• Represent the company in industry meetings and events.
• Travel 25–50% across nine-state footprint as needed.
