Job summary

Builders Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Risk Management Regional Manager to lead a field-based team delivering risk management services to policyholders and agents. This role requires coordinating with underwriting, claims, and other partners, and traveling across a nine-state footprint to drive loss prevention and superior service.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in insurance risk management, proven leadership, and the ability to develop talent while maintaining high service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required, plus 5+ years in insurance/risk management.
• Strong written and verbal communication with all levels of the organization.
• Experience leading a team of professional risk management consultants.
• Solid understanding of underwriting, claims, and risk assessment principles.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of regional Risk Management Consultants.
• Travel 25–50% to client sites and meetings.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Marketing, and other functions to improve loss results.
• Provide staff coaching, training, and continuing education.
• Develop and monitor field quality programs and performance metrics.
