Job summary

Builders Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Risk Management Regional Manager to lead field operations across a multi-state footprint. This hands-on role combines technical leadership with strategic oversight of Risk Management Consultants to improve loss results and customer service.

Travel 25-50% across the nine-state area; manage staffing, training, and collaboration with underwriting, claims, and marketing to deliver proactive risk management solutions.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively with all organization levels.
• Experience leading a customer-facing team.
• Strong understanding of underwriting, claims, and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily field operations of Risk Management Consultants.
• Deliver value-added Risk Management services to policyholders, agents, and insureds.
• Monitor loss trends and advise on reducing loss frequency/severity.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Marketing to improve loss results and brand.
• Ensure consultants perform through field quality analysis and training with the team.
• Promote high levels of customer service within the Risk Management org.
• Conduct accident investigations for high exposure claims.
• Represent the company at Home Builders Association events.
