Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to educate office staff on reimbursement challenges, prior auth processes, and coverage pathways across a designated territory. This client-facing role builds relationships with physician offices and manufacturers while coordinating education sessions and CRM-driven activities.

The position involves travel (up to 80%), remote/WFH flexibility, and collaboration with internal teams to meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of healthcare related reimbursement experience.
• Strong medical reimbursement experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy.
• Experience in insurance verification, prior authorizations, and/or claim adjudication.
• Medicare and commercial insurance coverage experience.
• Proven presentation skills and strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and on-demand education for office staff on reimbursement challenges and related services.
• Educate on Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization, and Medicare/Commercial coverage.
• Assist with case management, billing updates, and claims submissions.
• Set up appointments and perform outbound calls to targeted offices; coordinate provider information.
• Monitor program performance and report trends quarterly; interact with manufacturers and providers.
