Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to support reimbursement and patient services across a defined territory. The role involves on-site and remote education for office staff, focusing on benefit investigations, prior authorizations, and claims support.

Travel is a major component, with up to 80% time in the field. You will collaborate with healthcare providers, manufacturer reps, and internal teams to maximize patient access and payer awareness.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of healthcare related reimbursement experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and on-demand education for office staff on reimbursement challenges and available support services; average 15 interactions per week.
• Provide reimbursement support on case management, billing and coding updates, claims submission, and related processes.
• Collaborate with case manager on escalations (approx. 4 per month).
• Set up appointments and complete outbound calls to targeted offices.
• Assist in backlog casework.
• Interface with physicians and manufacturer representatives to obtain and provide patient and provider information.
• Track all interactions in FRM CRM and report to management; monitor program performance via dashboard and quarterly client reports.
• Research provider/manufacturer data for reimbursement database and build facility profiles in FRM CRM.
