Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager for remote-field based work across multiple US territories. The role focuses on supporting reimbursement challenges for specific drugs, including Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization, and Claims Assistance, while educating offices on payer landscape.

You will travel up to 80% and build relationships with physician offices and manufacturer reps to deliver services in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of healthcare related reimbursement experience.
• Strong medical reimbursement experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy.
• Experience supporting GLP-1 and Cardiology products.
• Medicare and commercial insurance coverage experience.
• Ability to deliver and document benefit investigation outcomes and relay status reports.
• Proven presentation skills and experience.
• Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and stay organized.
• PowerPoint and Web Meeting proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and on-demand education for the office staff regarding reimbursement challenges and available services.
• Educate on Benefit Investigation, Prior Authorization, and Medicare/Commercial coverage.
• Manage reimbursement casework, billing and coding updates, and patient assistance programs.
• Interface with physicians and manufacturer representatives to obtain provider information.
• Track interactions in FRM CRM and report to management and client.
• Travel within territory and set up appointments with targeted offices.
