Amgen is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to cover Oregon, Idaho, and parts of California. You will manage defined accounts, drive patient access strategies, and ensure reimbursement pathways are optimized across payer types.

This critical role requires PHI handling, collaboration with HUB, and strong leadership in a dynamic field. You will travel up to 40% and work in a hybrid setup, combining field visits with remote coordination.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, or Master’s with 3+ years in customer service/leadership, or Bachelor’s with 5+ years in customer service/leadership, or Associate’s with 10+ years, or high school with 12+ years, plus direct people leadership.
• Experience in public or private third-party access arena or pharmaceutical industry in managed care, clinical support, and/or sales.
• Strong medical reimbursement experience and/or Specialty Pharmacy and Buy & Bill knowledge.
• Proven presentation and facilitation skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Organizational skills and multi-project management experience.
• Experience in healthcare insurance verification, claims, and billing processes.

Responsabilités

• Act as an extension of the HUB, providing live one-on-one coverage support.
• Navigate payer prior authorization to appeals/denials, supporting the reimbursement journey.
• Review patient-specific data to resolve coverage challenges.
• Educate healthcare providers on payer coverage and changes impacting access.
• Coordinate access/reimbursement issues with HUB and partners.
• Inform on product coverage under Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid.
• Serve as payer expert for defined geography and communicate payer changes to stakeholders.
• Educate offices with approved materials and assist with benefits investigations.
• Review patient insurance benefits and financial assistance options.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve reimbursement issues.
