Job summary

Inspire Medical Systems is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager to optimize patient access and minimize reimbursement barriers. You will build relationships with providers and payers, navigate complex coverage challenges, and collaborate with internal teams to support therapy access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science or healthcare administration.
• 7+ years of experience in reimbursement/market access and/or working with complex insurance payer claims.
• Knowledge of coding, coverage, and payment for implantable medical devices.
• Experience engaging with HCPs at multiple sites of service.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with customers and cross-functional partners.
• Ability to travel regularly up to 25%.
• Independent and team-oriented problem solving with proactive follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Be subject matter expert on coding, coverage, and payment for Medicare and commercial payers.
• Explain reimbursement education and resources to customers across multiple sites of service.
• Navigate and address account and patient access issues with internal and external stakeholders.
• Respond to client requests for site visits and program reviews.
• Build relationships through reimbursement engagement with Sales, Marketing, Medical Education and Legal.
• Support development of reimbursement presentations for site visits and trainings.
• Stay informed on CMS and payer trends affecting Inspire.
• Collaborate with partners to align reimbursement support with account priorities.
