Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment.
• Construction or insurance experience is highly desirable and preferred.
• Excellent communication skills – both oral and written.
• Computer literate: MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Proficiency with smartphones and applications.
• Valid driver's license and Bondable; MVR background check may apply.
• Willingness to travel within IN territory and to policyholder homes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations by visiting policyholders' residences to assess property damage and liability.
• Use claims software, a company car, and a laptop to write estimates in a paperless environment.
• Evaluate and report on potential subrogation opportunities.
• Negotiate fair settlements with policyholders and communicate clearly.
• Travel to policyholder homes and work independently with field supervision.
• Promote safety and adhere to company policies and standards.
