Job summary

LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Customer Service Technician to support our advanced power distribution equipment. This role combines on-site field service with remote support, ensuring reliability and performance for customers at data centers and other critical facilities.

You will perform startup, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting, read schematics, and work with PC-based PCB programming. Travel across the US and Canada is required, with occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• Service experience with electric power systems required.
• Electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills required.
• Ability to read diagrams and schematics required.
• Familiarity with programming PCBs via PC-based software required.
• Safety awareness and PPE knowledge required.
• Electronics training from military service preferred.
• Clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Perform startup, commissioning, service, and preventive maintenance on LayerZero equipment such as static transfer switches and remote power panels.
• Maintain detailed service records in the LayerZero system.
• Provide customer support on-site and remotely via email and phone.
• Provide emergency response for critical incidents.
• Travel to customer sites across US and Canada; weekends/holidays may be required.
