LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Technician to support on-site and remote service of our advanced power distribution equipment. This role emphasizes electrical troubleshooting, safety and customer-focused service across the US and Canada.

Training at headquarters in Aurora, OH, with field assignments and travel. A background in electrical systems and readiness for weekend/holiday work is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with electric power systems and safety-focused service.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Experience programming PC-based printed circuit boards.
• Knowledge of electrical PPE and safety standards.
• Clean driving record and ability to travel for field work.

Responsabilités

• Perform startup, commissioning, service and preventive maintenance on LayerZero equipment.
• Provide customer support on site and via email/phone.
• Maintain timely and detailed service records in the LayerZero system.
• Provide emergency response for critical incidents.
• Coordinate with 24/7 incident response and scheduling.

Position Description: Customer Service Technician

LayerZero Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Customer Service Technician to support our advanced power distribution equipment. This role involves both on‑site and remote service, ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical troubleshooting abilities, a commitment to safety, and a customer‑first mindset.

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Perform startup, commissioning, service, and preventive maintenance on LayerZero equipment: Static transfer switchesPower distribution equipmentRemote power panels
• Provide customer support while on site and via email and phone
• Maintain timely and detailed service records in the LayerZero system
• Provide emergency response for critical incidents
• Regularly scheduled time slots for 1-844-855-5977 LayerZero 24/7 incident response

Experience & Skills

• Service experience with electric power systems – Required.
• Electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills – Required.
• Ability to read diagrams and schematics – Required.
• Familiarity with programming printed circuit boards via PC based programs – Required.
• Safety awareness and electrical PPE knowledge – Required.
• Electronics or electrical training from military service – Preferred.
• Clean driving record – Required.

Education

• Associate degree in electrical field – Preferred.
• Military training in electronics or electrical systems

WORK LOCATION

Training to be conducted at LayerZero Headquarters in Aurora, Ohio. Field service work is performed at customer sites through the US and Canada. Travel is required. At times, weekends or possibly holiday work will be required.
