Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager, Field Planning Experience, to lead initiatives that improve client and associate experiences across the tax journey. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and translate priorities into actionable plans that enable successful launches.

You will develop field-ready communications, monitor milestones and risks, gather feedback, and drive readiness and adoption to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 3–5 years in project management, operations, field support, analytics, or cross-functional roles.
• Ability to work in a matrix, virtual environment.
• Strong decision making, analytical, problem solving.
• Effective communication and facilitation across org levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and product planning tools.
• Familiarity with Project Management methodologies.
• Track record of setting priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects supporting client and associate experiences across initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional work to align priorities, timelines, deliverables.
• Translate business changes into field communications and readiness materials.
• Monitor milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, adoption.
• Gather feedback from offices, advisors, clients, and partners for improvements.
• Support pilots, testing, and phased rollouts to assess impacts.
• Develop job aids, FAQs, leadership resources, and support materials.
• Identify operational challenges with stakeholders and implement practical solutions.
• Escalate risks affecting timing, quality, or client experience.
• Document lessons learned and performance insights.
