Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Project Manager, Field Planning Client Readiness, to help prepare tax offices for seasonal changes and operational shifts. You will manage initiatives that align workforce planning, client readiness, and knowledge management to ensure clear guidance and resources for associates and clients.

You will collaborate with partner teams across Workforce Planning, Training, People and Culture, Finance, Operations, Communications, Product, Advisors, and field leaders; maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of project management/operations experience.
• Strong decision-making, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration or PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage workforce readiness and knowledge governance projects.
• Coordinate hiring, training, certification, compensation readiness, scheduling, capacity management, specialties, and recruiting workstreams.
• Collaborate with Workforce Planning, Training, People & Culture, Finance, Operations, Communications, Product, Advisors, and field leaders.
• Maintain readiness plans, calendars, milestones, risks, decisions, and status updates.
• Develop and maintain guidance resources, job aids, and reference materials for tax offices.
• Translate operational changes into clear leader guidance and FAQs.
• Gather field feedback and insights to identify risks and improvements.
• Facilitate readiness discussions to align stakeholders and decisions.
• Document contact strategy artifacts and lessons learned.
