Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Project Manager, Field Planning Experience, to lead initiatives that improve client and associate experiences across the tax preparation journey. You will partner with teams across the client experience workflow and field leadership to translate priorities into executable plans for launches and adoption.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of related PM experience, with strong communication, problem-solving, and proficiency in MS Office and PM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent through education and work experience.
• 3–5 years related project management, operations, field support, product readiness, analytics, communications, or cross-functional experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse, matrix, virtual environment.
• Strong decision making, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication with ability to present to multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects supporting client and associate experiences across multiple initiatives.
• Coordinate work across cross-functional teams to align priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
• Translate business changes into field-ready communications and readiness materials.
• Monitor milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and adoption indicators.
• Gather feedback from tax offices, advisors, clients, and partners to identify improvements.
• Support pilot programs, testing, and phased rollouts to evaluate outcomes.
• Develop job aids, FAQs, leadership resources, and support materials for execution.
