Job summary

Opus Medical is seeking a Nurse liaison to coordinate care and communicate medical information among the Injured Worker, the Insured, and the Carrier to facilitate treatment, rehabilitation, and return to work. This remote, field-based role involves regular local travel of up to 2 hours in your region.

You will partner with physicians, carriers, and clients to ensure timely assessments, accurate documentation, and progress toward durable RTW goals.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license; eligible in states where field case management is provided.
• Ability to perform independent assessments within scope of practice.
• Completion of nursing program and ongoing CE as required.
• National certifications preferred (e.g., CCM, CRC, CLNC, CRRN) within 4 years of hire.
• Two years FTE direct case management for injured workers or two years under supervision preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care and communicate medical information among the Injured Worker, the Insured, and Carrier.
• Attend physician appointments; obtain diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment plan.
• Record data and billing in CaseAnyplace; submit monthly reports.
• Promote teamwork with all staff; maximize billable hours per month.
• Provide translation as needed for bilingual nurses.
