Job summary

Opus Medical in Florida is seeking a nurse liaison who coordinates care and communicates medical information among the Injured Worker, the Insured, and the Carrier to facilitate treatment, rehab, and return to work. This remote, field-based role involves regular local travel up to 2 hours in your region.

You will follow the Case Management plan, accept referrals, schedule initial assessments, build professional relationships, and manage communications after physician visits.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing, eligible in each state where field CM is provided.
• May require CCM, CRC, CLNC, or CRRN certifications within 4 years of hire (preferred).
• Two years full-time direct case management for injured workers or supervision experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care and communicate medical information among Injured Worker, Insured, and Carrier.
• Follow Case Management plan and manage CM process.
• Accept referrals and schedule initial assessments.
• Maintain ongoing communication with Injured Worker, Insured, and Carrier after physician visits.
• Record data and billing; submit monthly reports.
• Assist with RTW planning and treatment updates.
