Job summary

Opus Medical is seeking a Nurse liaison to coordinate care and communications among the Injured Worker, the Insured, and the Carrier to facilitate treatment and return to work. This remote, field-based role involves regular local travel up to 2 hours in your region.

The role requires RN licensure, ongoing CE, and 2 years of direct case management for injured workers. Competitive pay, benefits, and flexible scheduling are offered.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license in applicable states.
• Ability to perform independent assessments within scope.
• Completion of nursing program and ongoing CE as required.
• One or more national certifications within 4 years of hire (preferred).
• Two years FTE direct case management for injured workers or supervision preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care and communicate medical information among injured worker, insured, and carrier.
• Follow CM plan and accept referrals as assigned by the Director of Case Management.
• Attend physician appointments and obtain diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment plan.
• Record data and billing; submit monthly reports as required.
• Refer to Vocational Counselor and coordinate IMEs when appropriate.
• Assist with RTW planning and maintain ongoing communication with all parties.
