Job summary

NurseRemotely is seeking a Nurse Liaison for a remote, field-based role coordinating care among injured workers, insureds, and carriers to facilitate treatment and return-to-work. The position involves regular local travel up to two hours within your region and requires ongoing professional development and licensure maintenance.

Key duties include CM plan adherence, referrals, data/billing documentation, and collaboration with physicians, therapists, and defense attorneys.

Qualifications

• RN license: current, unrestricted, valid in applicable states.
• Discipline eligibility to practice independently within scope.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program and ongoing continuing education.
• Nationally recognized certification (e.g., CCM, CRC, CLNC, CRRN) within 3 years or state requirements.
• Two years full-time direct case management for injured workers or equivalent supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow all CM plan policies and procedures and maintain CM process accountability.
• Accept referrals as assigned by the Director of Case Management.
• Coordinate communications among injured worker, insured, and carrier; schedule and obtain medical updates.
• Record data and billing in CaseAnyplace; submit timely monthly reports.
• Attend physician appointments and gather diagnosis, prognosis, treatment plan, and RTW estimates.
• Assist with RTW planning and coordinate transportation as needed.
