Job summary

Opus Medical seeks a Nurse liaison to coordinate care and relay medical information among the Injured Worker, the Insured, and the Carrier to ensure appropriate treatment, rehab, and return to work. This is a remote, field-based position with regular local travel within your region.

You will manage CM processes, follow referrals, document data in CaseAnyplace, attend physician appointments, and support RTW planning while maintaining nursing licensure and CE requirements.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license; licensed where field case management is provided.
• CE as required by state nursing boards.

Responsibilities

• Follow CM plan policies; retain CM process accountability.
• Accept referrals from Director of Case Management.
• Schedule initial assessments and coordinate next physician appointments.
• Maintain communication among Injured Worker, Insured, and Carrier.
• Record data and billing in CaseAnyplace; submit monthly reports.
• Attend physician appointments and document diagnosis, prognosis, and rehab plan.
• Coordinate RTW planning and refer to Vocational Counselor when needed.
• Provide translation for bilingual nurses as required.
• Ensure licensure and annual training are completed on time.
