Job summary

Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe seeks a full-time IT support professional to provide Layer 2 service desk and field support for Tribal Government Operations and Business Enterprises, under the Technical Services Supervisor.

The role handles hardware/software installation, password resets, incident management, asset tracking, and collaboration with vendors, with telework and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Three years IT support desk experience with one of the following certifications: Microsoft CDT, CompTIA A+, CompTIA N+.
• Experience with Windows Server and Desktop OS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be able to work various shifts.
• Must pass IT related competency exam.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license or pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide Layer 2 service desk support and field assistance for tribal operations.
• Install, configure, and support hardware and applications used by the tribal government.
• Reset passwords and assist with complex troubleshooting of desktop OS and office suites.
• Document issues, assist in asset tracking, and deploy workstations.
• Support ITIL incident management and participate in special projects.
