GAI Consultants, Inc. seeks an Environmental Specialist with field compliance monitoring experience to support projects from Canton, OH or Bridgeport/Charleston, WV.

The role is fully remote but requires travel to project sites across Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. You will lead field monitoring of erosion and sediment controls, review permits, and prepare monitoring reports with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and related Office applications.
• Experience collecting field data with GPS or GPS-enabled devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform field monitoring of erosion and sediment controls on construction projects.
• Review permits, permit conditions, and E&S control plans for sites.
• Prepare and review periodic monitoring reports based on field observations.
