Systems Planning Corporation (SPC), a subsidiary of GAI Consultants, Inc., seeks an Environmental Specialist with Field Compliance Monitoring for Canton, OH or Bridgeport/Charleston, WV offices. Fully remote with travel to project sites across US.
The successful candidate will perform field monitoring of erosion and sediment controls, review permits and plans, prepare monitoring reports, and assist with environmental documents while traveling up to 75% of the time.
Qualificações
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences or related field required.
- 2-4 years of field monitoring experience preferred.
- Knowledge of E&S control BMP concepts and permitting advantageous.
- Experience with SWPPP, NPDES, and environmental compliance a plus.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and data reporting.
Responsabilidades
- Perform field monitoring of erosion and sediment controls on construction projects with minimal supervision.
- Review permits, permit conditions, and E&S/stormwater plans for site and linear projects.
- Prepare and review periodic monitoring reports based on field observations; submit as required.
- Assist with environmental reports, permit applications, and project closeout documentation.
