Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services is seeking a Field Engineering Supervisor I to lead safety, productivity, and quality of proprietary diagnostic work on underground high- and medium-voltage cables. You will supervise crews, ensure data integrity, and coordinate with remote support teams from any U.S. location.

The role emphasizes field safety, customer training, and implementing field approaches to meet client needs, with up to 70% travel and a lucrative bonus program.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electronics or Engineering Technology is required or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or engineering technology is a plus.
• Experience testing low- and high-voltage power systems is a plus.
• At least one year in power utilities field service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for field assignments using project information and plans.
• Formulate project plans with customer field supervisors to meet objectives.
• Provide on-site training on safety, test equipment and procedures.
• Direct customers and contractors on-site for proper test execution.
• Oversee Osmose’s proprietary diagnostics on customer sites in the U.S. utility market.
• Troubleshoot and repair diagnostic equipment and interfaces.
• Acquire on-site test data and assess data quality and relevance.
• Escalate technical questions to remote support when needed.
• Maintain safety procedures and meet deadlines.
