Job summary

Osmose is seeking a Field Engineering Supervisor I to independently oversee safety, productivity, quality, and technician performance on our Factory Grade diagnostics for underground cables at customer sites. You will ensure proper use of our instrumentation, supervise crews, and assess data integrity with remote support when needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or engineering technology is a plus.
• Experience testing low-voltage and high-voltage power systems is a plus.
• At least one year of power utilities field service experience is a plus.
• Strong fundamentals of electrical engineering and signal processing.
• Knowledge of analog and digital signal processing theory.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for field assignments using project plan information.
• Formulate daily project plans with customer field supervisors to meet objectives.
• Provide on-site customer safety training on test equipment and procedures.
• Scan test environments for factors affecting diagnostics results.
• Direct power distribution customers and contractors on-site.
• Implement field approaches to meet customer needs with cross‑team support.
• Oversee Osmose's diagnostic equipment at U.S. utility sites.
• Troubleshoot and repair diagnostic equipment including analog/digital circuits.
